Altiplánico Sur Hotel
From North to South

After three years of successful operation Altiplánico Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama inaugurates next October 1st, Altiplánico Sur Hotel in the Chilean Patagonia, located in El Huerto #282, Puerto Natales. In the waterfront walk with direction to Las Torres del Paine between Puerto Natales and Puerto Bories, at three kilometers from Puerto Natales downtown.

Altiplánico Sur Hotel opens with 22 rooms – king, triple, twin and single. The hotel has a restaurant, cafeteria, bar, laundry, internet service, parking lot, radiant heating in common zones and radiator heating individually operated in rooms. It will be open all the year through.

Rooms are large, all with spectacular view to Ultima Esperanza Bosom and Balmaceda Glacier with a simple, refined and cozy decoration.

In this project, as in San Pedro, aesthetics is privileged over luxury; besides, typical materials from the zone have been used for its construction and decoration. Thus, roofs are covered with grass and flowers at different levels giving a sensation that the Hotel is inside the hillside. Noble timbers of the region have been used for interiors, as well as textiles, cement at sight, bricks and stones. Exterior walls are coated of vegetal peat giving an organic appearance.

This combined with a specially personalized attention in order to provide the passenger a feeling of familiarity and contention, which make him/her feel at home.
