Location and Surface: Torres del Paine National Park is located between Cordillera de Los Andes and Patagonian Steppe, and has a 181,414 hectare surface.

Access Ways: you may get there any time of the year by a 250 km paved road connecting Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales, and by a 150 km dirt road from Puerto Natales. In winter time, we recommend you to use chains due to instability of weather conditions.

CONAF Administrative Headquarters:it is located in Lago Toro sector, 145 km from Puerto Natales and 33 km from the main access to the Park (Sarmiento porter's lodge).
Environmental Education activities are carried out at the Administrative Headquarters.
Park office business hours: 8:30 A.M. to 08:00 P.M.

Park Keeper Offices

• Lago Sarmiento porter's lodge: 114 km from Puerto Natales and 36 km from Administrative Headquarters.
• Laguna Amarga porter's lodge: 115 km from Puerto Natales and 38 km from Administrative Headquarters.
• Laguna Azul porter's lodge: 123 km from Puerto Natales and 58 km from Administrative Headquarters.
• Lago Grey keeper post: 168 km from Puerto Natales and 18 km from Administrative Headquarters.
• Laguna Verde keeper post: 110 km from Puerto Natales. No access available from inside the Park.

 

 
Lago Pehoé Camping: located at Lago Pehoé sector with an access by the main road, 12 km from Administrative Headquarters.

Season: December 1 to May 30.

Description: 32 sites with a maximum 6 person capacity, sanitary facilities provided with drinking water, table, bonfire, garbage cans, firewood (10 logs), hot water showers, a stand selling non perishable goods, water basins, and washing places.

Río Serrano Camping: located at Lago Toro sector, 7 km from Administrative Headquarters.

Descripción: 23 sites with a maximum 6 person capacity, latrine type rustic bathrooms, table, bonfire, garbage cans, and firewood. Season: December 15 to April 15.


Laguna Azul Camping: located at Laguna Azul sector.

Descripción: Twenty 40 m2 sites with a maximum 6 person capacity, electric power, drinking water-equipped sanitary facilities, showers, hot water, rowboats for rent, camping stoves for rent, sale of non perishable goods, table, bonfire, garbage cans, and firewood. Season: October 15 to April 15.

 

 
 

Pingo - Zapata Circuit

The trail begins at the Administrative Headquarters and follows vehicle road until getting to Lago Grey keeper post (18 km), then by hills until you arrive to Pingo lodge, Zapata lodge, and Zapata glacier.
• Administration - Grey keeper post - 18 km vehicle road.
• Grey keeper post - Pingo lodge: 1 hour
• Zapata lodge - Zapata glacier: 1 hour
 

  Paine Circuit

The trail surrounds Paine Massif, first at half of the mountain and climbing to 1,350 masl, passing by rivers, lakes and glaciers such as Grey, Dickson and Perros. Duration time: 7 to 10 days of hike.

 

  Dickson Glacier Circuit

The trail starts at Laguna Amarga keeper post through a plain until reaching Serón camping, then it continues through small hills passing by Coirón Camping and then again through a plain until getting to Dickson lodge, from where it is possible to see the glacier.
• Laguna Amarga keeper post – Serón camping: 5 hours
• Serón Camping - Coirón Camping: 3 hours
• Coirón Camping - Dickson lodge: 3 hours

 

  Grey Glacier Circuit – French Snowdrift

The trail starts in a highly exposed to wind pampa, and then it continues at half a mountain until arriving to glaciers.
• Administration - Pehoé Lodge: 5 hours
• Pehoé Lodge – Grey Glacier: 3 hours 30 minutes
• Pehoé Lodge – French Snowdrift: 4 hours

 

 

Circuito Las Torres

• Type of path: raid.
• Laguna Amarga Keeper Post – Paine Hill Estancia: 7 km vehicle road.
• Paine Hill Estancia – Chilean Camping: 2 hours Chilean
• Camping – Torres Camping: 1.5 hours

Description: The trail starts in Laguna Amarga keeper post through vehicle road for 7 km, until reaching Paine Hill Keeper Post (private), then you start climbing passing by Chilean Camping until getting to the foot of Torres del Paine (600 masl).

 

 

Circuito Lago Paine

The trail starts in Laguna Azul keeper post until reaching Laguna Cebolla and then it continues through an old vehicle track until Paine lake lodge.
• Laguna Azul keeper post – Laguna Cebolla: 2 hours
• Laguna Cebolla – Paine lake lodge: 2 hours

 

 

Laguna Verde Circuit

The trail starts at Administrative Headquarters and goes through the vehicle road for 2.5 km, then it detours to the right to start climbing Sierra del Toro (800 masl), and continues by small hills until arriving to Laguna Verde keeper post.

Duration time: Administration - Laguna Verde: 5 hours

In general, these trails are fit for all kind of persons wearing mountain clothes and gear. Lodges allowing visitors to rest or spend the night are located throughout the primitive raid trail network.
